Creative play - wooden fences

creative play books

Another project we have made from the Creative Play books I mentioned the other day are the wooden fences. I've only made five so far, but I do intend to make more, they are quite fun to make. We used some branches pruned from our plum tree.

I came out into the building extension the other day to discover this amazing zoo that Liam had made. I love the iceburg. All the other bits of wood are building scraps.

Here are some of my other favourite projects from the books. Such simple and clever ideas.

Wishing you all a lovely weekend. I hope you have some nice things planned. We have my sister and husband and my nephew visiting tomorrow and my nephew will be staying a night which the kids are very much looking forward too. And perhaps a Santa parade to go to, if it's not raining, which it looks as though it just might be - oh how we need some rain! The ground is so dry and summer has barely begun. See you all next week, we're just off to take the dog for a walk to the postshop - while the weather is still fine :)
