Rest in peace dear Aunty Jill

I like to talk about the happy things in life here, but I couldn't not mention this, it's about all I can think about at the moment. My dear Aunty Jill, my dad's sister, passed away on Sunday morning after a long battle with cancer. My heart especially mourns for my two cousins who have lost their mother. Duncan is married with two small children, the youngest only about 8 weeks old. And Caroline is the same age as me and just married a year ago. Liam summed up simply how we are all feeling, he said "But I don't want Aunty Jill to go away because I like Aunty Jill". She will be missed so much. But we feel comforted knowing that she is now at peace in heaven.

Yes you will miss her - too young -I remember her as a vibrant, happy lady. Doug and I are thinking of you, that you will be comforted in your grief. As Liam says, he does not want her to go away but we can be thankful, she is just away, not gone forever. You WILL see her again in heaven. Please convey our thoughts and prayers to your Dad.

Blessings to you and yours, Hanna. If pictures are indeed worth a thousand words, your dear Aunt Jill appears to be an entire novel, of the very best sort. We are thinking of you all, right now. xo, Molly

Yes-she was one of the best as I remember her. So hospitable and very generous with her home and herself. Such a gap she will leave in the family. May she be now 'at Home'.
