I've been making lots of little summer skirts of late, and I don't think I'm quite done yet, I think Isla might need a couple more, at least.
It all started with a little friend of ours who turned one. I decided to make her a wee flowery skirt with a matching headband.
It was so cute and pretty that I decided Isla needed one too, minus the headband, as we all know she has no hair to hold back, yet, she's working on it, slowly.
And then, the same week, I sold this cheerful yellow skirt, which I'd made a while ago, to a sweet lady for her little girl who has decided that trousers will just not do.
But of course one skirt would certainly not be enough for an anti-trouser wearer to get through the week.
So she picked out some more fabrics.
And I made three more pretty little skirts.
... and two more to come, at least.
