What's going on

The weather has warmed up and the sun is shining again today but Isla and I have come down with a cold! Nasty things are going on with our noses. Hopefully Aaron and Liam don't get it too.
But anyway being sick doesn't stop me sewing! Sometimes I get an idea in my head and I just have to do it, right away. Like a few weeks ago when I painted my office walls in my pyjamas while Liam ate his breakfast. So I had some more of that crazy morning productivity this morning and had these whipped up by 8.30.

I decided Isla needed some more pants, something simple and not too pink. Only problem is I didn't notice in my morning state that there is a big flaw in the fabric that runs right down the centre front of one of the legs - oh well, we'll just pretend that is a design feature.
The fabric is a nice soft cotton knit.

There has been a little productivity outside too. Carrot, beetroot and sweetpea seeds planted in the weekend and lawns mowed. Yes it was finally dry enough to mow the lawns, you could hear the hum of lawnmowers around the neighbourhood. It's amazing what a freshly mowed lawn can do, it's looking a lot better out there already. I've written a list of all the things I want to plant.

No doubt it will be added to when I've had more time to think.

A fresh mown lawn is like a well made bed-you don't notice how untidy everything else is!!
