It was quiet, too quiet

So instead of an update on the house, how about some photos of what the children got up to while we were outside working on the house. Normally they're there beside us, chatting continuously or pottering around outside, or feeding and changing and attending to baby dolls, or taking apart toys and any electrical item that is past is use-by. Whatever they are up to I am aware of their presence and whereabouts. Generally when it goes quiet these days I don't worry about what they are getting up to, they're old enough now to not get into things they're not supposed to.  But it was particularly quiet, I even went inside just to double check, they were in the bedroom with the door shut (they put to good use the art set you got Isla for Christmas Poppi). Liam's smile dissapeared very quickly when I told him it would never come off (mean mummy aye). Fortunately they were washable markers and nothing a good flannel scrubbing wouldn't fix, though they had some tinting left for a day or so, looked like they had a nasty rash, lucky we didn't have to go anywhere.

It was quiet

(Isla is such a girl - just noticed she stuck to the pink/purple tones).

It was quiet

It was quiet

It was quiet

It was quiet

It was quiet

It was quiet

What a hoot. Finally something to look at. :-). I note it is all very well organised drawing. There is a pattern to it not just scribble. Who did they think they were? Hobbits? Aliens? GG xxx

Mwahahaha. At least it wasn't the walls or the furniture! Washable markers are so good.
